The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts 13 national championships annually, including the U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Open and the U.S. Senior Open.
The championship rounds conclude on Sunday, July 12. Contestants play in groups of two on Sunday. Following the first two rounds (36 holes), the field of players will be cut to the lowest 60 scores, including ties, and any player within 10 strokes of the leader(s). If there is a tie after 72 holes, there will be a three-hole aggregate playoff immediately following play. Should there still be a deadlock after three holes, players will continue to play hole-by-hole until the winner is determined.
